Md Politician Files To Run For U.S. Senate

Queen Anne's County Commissioner Dr. Eric Wargotz has filed the papers with the Maryland State Board of Elections to run for the U.S. Senate.

The Republican was elected President of the Queen Anne's County Board of County Commissioners in 2006 and practices medicine in Prince George's County.

"Voters are angry and want new representation," Wargtoz said in a statement. "Voters want the private sector to create jobs, not the government; voters want health care reform, not a government takeover; voters want a cleaner Chesapeake Bay, not 30 years of lip service; voters want strong national security, not taxpayer funded defense attorneys for captured terrorists"
