Marylanders are now casting votes in the state primary, but it's the general election that many candidates are focused on.
Political reporter Pat Warren reports a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate has created his own unique image of the long-time incumbent.
Eric Wargotz's TV ad calls Senator Barbara Mikulski an "insidersaurus" and the origin of the species more than 30 years in Congress.
A Republican, Wargotz is a Queen Anne's County everyman, to hear him tell it, a county commissioner who's just what voters are looking for in a U.S. senator.
"I don't feel at a disadvantage. I think I'm the candidate who's ready for these times and who can unseat Barbara Mikulski," said Wargotz.
